This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
