I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
